Welcome to The Digby Tap
Sherborne's Only Free House

Handy for the glorious golden stone abbey, this old-fashioned town ale house pleases everyone who likes their pubs down-to-earth. It has four or five interesting real ales on hand pump, and they work through around 20 different beers a week, most from fairly local brewers such as Cottage, Exmoor, Goldfinch and Otter. There’s a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the simple stone-flagged main bar, which attracts a good mix of customers...... The enjoyable food, like the beer, is very reasonably priced. In huge helpings.......GOOD PUB GUIDE 2003

Lively long-established, Free House, close to the Town centre, Abbey and Station. It is divided into four drinking areas, with flagstone floors and cosy corners. Enjoying a strong regular trade, it is a favourite with local Hockey and Rugby teams. Live music is performed occasionally. Four ever changing beers mainly from local independent brewers. Mobile phones are banned.    GOOD BEER GUIDE 2003
